Who are Friends and what do we do?

The Friends has been founded on November 26, 1954 as a parents’ association for the families of the students at the English school. The funds collected by the Friends are directed entirely back to the school to benefit the students in various ways.

We help with:

• Acquiring new teaching tools that teachers want (science equipments, books)
• Supporting the library’s book purchases
• Sponsoring recess equipment
• Supporting the school in IT procurement
• Organising Popular Clubs
• Distributing scholarships to students assigned by teachers
• Family Movie Nights
• Spring and Xmas Fairs
• Logo product sale
• New – Friends took part in sponsoring the winter sports day at Vihti Ski.
