History

The Friends has been founded on November 26, 1954 as a parents’ association for the families of the students at the English school. The funds collected by the Friends are directed entirely back to the school to benefit the students in various ways. 

Friends Board

The Friends of the English School is spearheaded by the core group – the board. It has up to 10 members, elected at the Friends’ Annual Meeting yearly. The period for the elected members is 2 years at a time.

Welcome to bring your expertise and ideas to the board for the next term! The meeting takes place in autumn and will be announced beforehand.

Englantilaisen koulun ystävien hallituksen jäsenet

Englantilaisen koulun ystäviä johtaa hallitus. Siinä on enintään 10 jäsentä, jotka valitaan Ystävien vuosikokouksessa vuosittain. Valittujen jäsenten toimikausi on kaksi vuotta kerrallaan. Tervetuloa tuomaan osaamisesi ja ideoitasi hallitukselle seuraavalle kaudelle! Kokous pidetään syksyllä, ja siitä ilmoitetaan etukäteen.
