Purpose of an Alumni Organization

Our alumni organization serves several essential purposes:

  1. Networking: We provide a platform for alumni to connect, collaborate, and share experiences. Networking is crucial for personal and professional growth.
  2. Support: Whether it’s career advice, mentorship, or simply staying connected, our alumni community supports each other through various life stages.
  3. Events: We organize networking events twice a year, bringing alumni together to exchange ideas, explore opportunities, and strengthen bonds.
  4. Annual Meeting: As required by Finnish law regarding Yhdistystoiminta, we hold an annual meeting (financial meeting and update on early activities). It’s an opportunity to discuss association matters, elect new board members (on two year rotation, next election cycle is 2025-2027), and ensure transparency of the yhdistys.
