The English School’s annual tradition, Sports Day, took place on Saturday, 14th September, at Eläintarha Sports Field. The day started with an opening parade where all classes carried their class flags and shouted their team chants. After this, we had relay races for all grades. Then it was time for the track and field events. Grades 1-4 participated in the long jump and 60 m run. Grades 5-6 had competitions in the 60 m run and shot put. Between events, there were American football and dance workshops to join. The day ended with a 400 m run. Thank you to our PE teachers for organising this wonderful sports day for us! It was so much fun!
