Next month, a team of our educators will be heading to SETT Stockholm, one of the largest education and edtech events in the Nordics! Representing The English School, teachers Sophie Aro, Marja Kokko and Lotta Liukkonen will be presenting on Creating Holistic Learning Paths for ICT Skills—sharing how we can teach these essential digital competencies with purpose, equity, and without adding too much to teachers’ workload.
They will be joined by fellow educators Kaisu Möller and Susanna Saukkonen, who are eager to share, learn, network, and bring back new insights to our school community.
As part of a Ministry of Education-funded project, our team with support from 3DBear and Qridi has developed an immersive, structured approach to digital skills education, using simulations and interactive videos to engage students while making learning meaningful and accessible. These materials will be piloted at our school this spring, allowing us to refine and further develop how we teach transversal ICT competencies.
We are proud to have our teachers sharing their expertise on an international stage and look forward to learning from educators across the globe. If you’re attending SETT Stockholm, be sure to say hello!
