Grade 6 will once again organise the traditional Spooky Trail for Grades 3 to 5, as well as a Junior Spooky Trail for Grades 1 and 2 and Preschool 2.
When?
The Spooky Trails are part of our Mäntytie Halloween celebrations on Tuesday 31st of October (school day from 8:00 am till 12:10 pm for Grades 1-2 and 8:15 am-12:30 pm for Grades 3-6). Students go on the Spooky Trail in smaller groups led by our very own Grade 6 guides.

The Legend of Sleepy Engs (Spooky Trail for Grades 3-5)
Legend has it that this school has once been haunted by the ghost of a headless teacher. On Halloween, he returns to look for his head. And this time, he will not just settle for a pumpkin…
Follow our guides into the haunted school, through ghostly forests and across a spooky pumpkin patch, to uncover the mystery of the headless ghost. Help the poor lost soul find his head again – but beware! Many dangers await… And whatever you do, DON’T LOSE YOUR HEAD!
A Spooky Trail inspired by Washington Irving’s classic tale “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”, adapted and re-imagined by Grade 6.
Please note that participation in the Spooky Trail is strictly voluntary. Anyone feeling uncomfortable is allowed to leave the Spooky Trail at any time; our guides are there to look after everyone and, if necessary, take them back to the safety of their own classroom if things get too spooky.
The Junior Spooky Trail (PS2, Grades 1 and 2)
Join us for ghostly games, spookily fun activities and amazing Halloween themed decorations in the gym! All games organised and led by Grade 6 students.
